EDSR can offer a civil engineering service alongside our site remediation expertise. Our senior management team include Chartered Civil Engineers with significant experience in the management of most aspects of geotechnical and civil engineering.

Integration of our civil engineering and remediation service provides added value to our clients by improving work programmes and costs. There are considerable advantages in reducing the number of contractors working on site at any one time including, most importantly, health and safety issues and in providing better environmental controls.

EDSR has extensive experience of undertaking geotechnical and civil engineering services together with remediation works. Examples include the installation of slurry walls, sheet piling and drainage as part of a major project to remediate a former agrochemicals facility in Yalding, Kent. At Frome, EDSR installed a reinforced earth retaining wall in order to maximise the area of land available for redevelopment. Significant temporary works were required at Stretford in Manchester in order to support the canal structure whilst remedial works were being carried out.
